Finnish Finnair is cancelling 143 flights from Helsinki airport on Tuesday, the company announces in a press release. Approximately 6,500 passengers are estimated to be affected by the cancelled flights.
"Since the industrial action will cause significant disruptions to air traffic, Finnair must cancel about 143 flights on Tuesday", the company writes in a press release.
The flights are being cancelled after the trade union Aviation Union (IAU) announced an industrial action on Tuesday due to an ongoing dispute with the airline.
