The Finnish airline Finnair is cancelling around 110 flights on Friday, May 30, due to a strike at Helsinki airport. According to the company, approximately 8,000 passengers are affected by the strike.
The background is the strike with targeted actions being carried out by the Finnish aviation union IAU. A similar strike was carried out earlier in May.
The strike is planned to last for four hours on Friday and affects several services at the airport that the airline is dependent on. According to Finnair, customers affected by the cancelled departures will be offered alternative flights.
