Finland has received a nightmare message ahead of the Four Nations:
Star defenseman Miro Heiskanen, Dallas, will miss the tournament in North America.
Heiskanen injured himself in Dallas' match against Vegas on Wednesday, when he took a hit and clutched his knee, having trouble putting weight on his right leg.
"It's sad news for Miro, but also for Finland's national team", says national team captain Antti Pennanen in a press release.
The skilled 25-year-old is Finland's best defenseman and has won gold in both the World Championship and junior World Championship.
Heiskanen has scored 25 points (5 goals+20 assists) in 50 games with Dallas this season.
No replacement has been selected yet.
The Four Nations will take place in Montreal and Boston on February 13-21.
