Finland's GDP (gross domestic product) rose by 0.4 percent in the fourth quarter compared to the previous quarter, according to official statistics.
Household consumption gained momentum in the sluggish economy, after contracting for two consecutive quarters.
For the full year 2025, GDP growth reached just above zero, compared to an even weaker 2024.
"It's not rocket science, but the direction is finally positive," Jukka Appelqvist, chief economist at the Finnish Chamber of Commerce, said in a comment.
