During the first quarter of the year, the economy grew by 0.9 percent compared with the previous quarter. This compares with growth of 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2025.
At an annualised rate, growth in the first quarter of this year was 1.1 percent, compared with 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, according to Statistics Finland.
Retail sales in Finland increased by 2.3 percent year-on-year in April, compared with an increase of 3.9 percent in March.
