Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs has summoned the Russian ambassador following the suspected intrusion into Finnish airspace last week, the ministry reports on X. According to the post, they have requested an explanation of the incident.
The announcement comes after the country's Ministry of Defence reported on Friday that two Russian fighter jets had violated Finnish airspace.
