Finland’s economy has struggled in recent years with high unemployment.
The government is now presenting measures that include several spending cuts, Helsingin Sanomat reports, among others.
One of the more concrete proposals is to raise the retirement age to 70, in stages, with each age group working six months longer, starting in 2032.
The normal retirement age is currently 65, but is gradually increasing for younger people.
Another proposal is to limit parental leave.
