The deal concerns Saab's short-range air defence system, RBS 70 NG.

Finland has allocated 108 million euros, around 1.2 billion kronor, for the deal, writes Dagens industri.

"We are developing Finland's air defence system on a broad front. Preparedness for various threats must include the right and up-to-date equipment for every need. This procurement is part of a comprehensive whole," says Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen in a press release.

The air defence system should be operational before 2030.
