Finland and USA are joining forces when it comes to building icebreakers. According to Finland's president Alexander Stubb, he and his USA counterpart Donald Trump will sign an agreement at the White House on Thursday, where a number of Finnish companies as well as the USA's coast guard are included.
On X, Stubb praises Trump and writes that the agreement would not have been possible without the president. But he also explains that it is already established contacts between the USA's leadership and Finnish manufacturers that are now confirmed in the document.
