Stubb says, according to Yle, that cooperation between the countries has reached "a new level" and that Ukraine needs all the help it can get in the war against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for his part, writes on X that "we are always ready to share with our closest friends what has helped us save lives."
In his speech to the General Assembly, Zelenskyy said he was seeking similar cooperation with other partners, citing Canada as an example. Shortly afterwards, he also announced a security agreement with Australia.
