The program was recorded on the Greek island of Crete last autumn and this year's "bachelors" are Christopher Stein, who is 32 years old, lives in Stockholm and works as a credit analyst, and Gabriel Adersteg, 29 years old, also from Stockholm, who works as a customer advisor at a bank.
If the name Christopher Stein rings a bell, it's because he was one of the participants in "The Bachelorette" last year. He got to jump in as a bachelor at short notice just before the recordings were about to start, after the production was hit by a late dropout.
"Getting to be this year's bachelor feels both honorable, unreal and incredibly fun! I'm a spontaneous person who likes adventures, so when the opportunity arose, it just felt right to say yes", he says in a press release from TV4 about his participation in the reality series.
"Let's Dance" current Malin Stenbäck is the host of "Bachelor" which has its season premiere on June 9 on TV4 Play.
