It's clearly a little sad, but it still feels right. It's a decision that is self-made, and it's a luxury to be able to do it, to be able to say thank you before someone else does, Roberts tells SVT.

Hagman:

It feels very right now. We have been on many journeys, ups and downs, with this national team. Now a new journey begins, and neither I nor Jamina felt that we had the strength to give it a fair chance.

The duo was thanked after the big win against Lithuania in the European Championship qualifiers in Kosta, Småland, 39-18. The last international match ended with both laughter and tears.

Hagman scored six goals and Roberts scored four - and they offered, among other things, a "Japanese". Hagman has now scored 1,014 goals in Blågult.

Sweden had previously secured a place at the European Championship finals in December.
