Filippa K has hired an agency to produce AI-generated photorealistic images for its spring and summer campaign. Social media users have reacted to the images, as they appear to be plagiarism of real photographers' work for competing clothing brands, the newspaper writes.
Filippa K has now removed the criticized images from Instagram. The company's PR manager Amelia Sciard says in a written statement to SvD that the company takes the issue very seriously.
"After the issue was brought to our attention, we immediately removed the affected images. After a comprehensive assessment, we have also decided to take down the campaign in its entirety from our channels while we conduct a review of the material."
