Filip Hållander Signs Two-Year Deal with Pittsburgh Penguins

Filip Hållander is leaving Timrå and SHL for a new stint in North American professional hockey. The forward has signed with Pittsburgh.

The contract stretches over two years. This is announced by the NHL club's general manager Kyle Dubas.

Hållander, 24, scored 53 points (26 goals and 27 assists) during the season and finished second in the SHL's scoring league. He simultaneously broke Henrik Zetterberg's club record of 50 points.

Hållander played two seasons in North America between 2021 and 2023, mainly in the farm team Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in AHL, where he made 61 points (25 goals and 36 assists) in 104 matches. He also played three matches in NHL with Pittsburgh Penguins.
