NHL goalkeeper Filip Gustavsson has signed a new five-year contract with Minnesota. For that he will be richly rewarded.

Totalt 34 million American dollars is what the new contract is worth, writes nhl.com. This means that the Swedish ice hockey goalkeeper will receive an annual salary of around 64 million kronor.

Gustavsson's current contract with Minnesota Wild expires after the upcoming season. The 27-year-old came to the club from Ottawa Senators in 2022.

Earlier in the week, another of the team's stars, the Russian Kirill Kaprizov, also signed a new contract. He thus became the highest paid in the entire NHL, with an annual salary of around 160 million kronor per year.
