The 21-year-old Swede will have to wait for his first World Cup victory of his career. Japan's Ikuma Horishima was in a class of his own in the super final at Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire.
But behind him - 80.54 points compared to Horishima's 85.56 - Filip Gravenfors secured his first individual podium this winter. This came in the last World Cup competition before the Olympics in Italy next month.
Just a few days ago, Gravenfors also came third in parallel moguls at the World Cup competition in Val St. Come, Canada.
It promises to be good, to say the least, ahead of the Olympics in February, where reigning Olympic champion Walter Wallberg and Rasmus Stegfeldt will also represent Sweden in moguls.
