Fighting Forces More Than 300,000 People to Flee Their Homes in Yemen, UN Says

The vast majority have fled the western part of the country in the past two months, with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reporting that they are in “urgent need of shelter, food, clean water and healthcare.”

In September, the IOM reported that thousands more Yemenis had fled to neighbouring Djibouti.
