Artan, Africa's best referee, was stopped from entering the United States despite a pre-approved visa.
"It's unfortunate what happened, but we can't control everything. Sometimes it's good to just chill. We always try to find solutions, but we are not kings of the world who can rule over governments," Infantino said at a press conference in Mexico City.
The FIFA chairman also defends the expensive ticket prices and says they are lower than American professional sports currently taking place.
"Every dollar we generate goes back into football. If we were to do like everyone else and sell the TV rights to pay-TV channels, the tickets would probably be free."
