It has long been known that the World Cup final will have its first halftime show, featuring Madonna, Shakira, pop band BTS and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Now it is clear that even more celebrities will take to the pitch at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The closing ceremony will begin an hour and a half before kick-off and fans should be present because they have "an active role to play," FIFA wrote in a press release.

In addition to Tom Cruise and Ishowspeed, Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger and Laura Pausini will perform, as well as American pop star Jennifer Hudson, who will sing the American national anthem, despite the American national team being eliminated in the round of 16.

The final will be played on July 19 at 9:00 PM Swedish time, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and when the match is decided, the winner will be awarded the World Cup trophy by US President Donald Trump.
