Iran already has a list of ten demands ahead of this summer's championships in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Among other things, all players must be guaranteed visas without problems.
Iran's federation chairman, Mehdi Taj, does not want to go into any details from the meeting, but describes it as "positive and constructive."
"We discussed our concerns and expressed our mutual commitment to ensure smooth participation for Team Melli," Taj says.
Iran will play its group-stage matches in the United States and face New Zealand, Belgium and Egypt.
