Around a thousand customers with the internet service provider Fibra were left without internet connection after a sabotage on Tuesday evening, reports P4 Västmanland.

The sabotage affected customers in Kvicksund in Västmanland.

We have filed a report of sabotage and conducted a technical investigation at the site, says Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro, press spokesperson at the police, to TT.

It is still not possible to say who is behind the sabotage.

We cannot comment on that, it's something we need to investigate simply.

After the police investigation, Fibras technicians were able to repair the damage, and at 1 pm on Wednesday, the connection was back up.

”We will analyze the incident in order to minimize the risk of future sabotage”, says Fibras operations manager Musa Bektas in a comment.
