This is the lowest level during the entire measurement period (2015–2025), and Brå (the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention) says the proportion has been declining since 2017, when it stood at 50.6 percent.

The survey also shows that the proportion of students who report having committed a crime is decreasing. Slightly less than half, 47.4 percent, say they have committed one or more of the following crimes: theft, vandalism, violent crime or drug offenses.

This is also the lowest proportion during the entire measurement period; previously, it was around 50–52 percent.
