The AFP news agency analyzed the statistics and noted a decrease in the number of nighttime Russian drone and missile attacks during the month.
At the same time, attacks on the country's energy infrastructure disrupted power supplies for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.
At least 5,134 drones were used in nighttime attacks during the month, down 6 percent from the previous month. The number of missiles fell by 18 percent over the same period, according to the figures.
The analysis shows Ukraine stopped a slightly smaller share of missiles and drones in December - 80 percent, compared with 82 percent in November.
