The number of bankruptcies decreased by two percent in November compared to the same period last year, according to monthly statistics from Creditsafe. However, on an annual basis, the figures remain about the same as at the same time last year.
"It is very positive that bankruptcies are decreasing in November after two months of growth. Although the bankruptcy numbers are still just as high as last year, we see that it is now mainly smaller limited companies that are being eliminated. Many companies are struggling while waiting for the economy to pick up, and the recovery is slow," says Henrik Jacobsson, CEO of Creditsafe, in a press release.
