If you divide the politicians from excluded areas among the parliamentary parties, V has the largest share at 12.4 percent. The second-largest share is S at 9.8 percent, followed by SD at 7.0 percent. The smallest share from excluded areas is found in L, where the share is 0.7 percent.

According to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the vulnerable areas are characterised by high unemployment, dependence on benefits, overcrowding, poor school results and low voter turnout.

The proportion of municipal politicians from disadvantaged areas can be assumed to decrease after the election, as 80 out of 100 of them are placed eleventh or lower on the ballot, according to the newspaper.
