Ahead of the final night, Felicia is still topping the charts and is predicted to win by a landslide. The former Miss Snusk has taken the audience by storm with her entry "My system," which features both a massive laser show and heavy techno beats.

But she has been suffering from a stubborn cold, and during Saturday's rehearsal she told Gina Dirawi that she had a high fever.

"I hope she gets well. This shouldn't have to stop her," said one of the main competitors, Greczula, who took second place among the bookmakers - last year he came third in the competition.

Got to fly

He was first to perform in this year's Melodifestivalen and during his act there was a technical mishap when the stand he was supposed to be flown up to the roof of the arena in didn't work. But when it really mattered in the final, he was able to complete the act as originally intended.

Second in the Melodifestivalsklubben audience survey during Friday's dress rehearsal, however, was Lilla Al-Fadji. This week he became the only artist to overtake Felicia's "My system" on Spotify.

"So, it feels right, so we just have to thank and accept," he told TT.

Aiming for profit

Medina comes in third place both in the audience survey and when the betting companies' odds are combined into an average.

"We are happy with the top five. If you read into it a little and look at the odds and the feeling, it might be a little difficult to take first place, but you never know," says Sami Rekik.

Ali Jammali points out that there are indeed many in the starting field who are aiming for victory.

"We talked about how all the acts have leveled up. Everyone is hungry for profit."

Medina has made some political statements and small "coups" in Melodifestivalen over the years. When the duo sang the last notes of "Viva l'amor," Sami Rekik opened his jacket and showed the inner lining, where the following quote was read:

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

The quote is often attributed to rock icon Jimi Hendrix.
