The reason? They don't want any "fake Fröken Snusk", reports Smålandsposten.
According to SMP, the organizer also writes that they booked Fröken Snusk for the original artist's unique voice and "now replacing her with someone else under the same name doesn't feel right towards the audience".
It was on Friday that Rasmus Gozzi, the producer behind Fröken Snusk, confirmed that a new artist has taken over and donned the significant pink mask.
Aftonbladet was the first to report on the switch and according to information provided to the newspaper, AI has been used to make the replacement – who on Friday performed their first concert, in Örebro – sound like the original.
The "old" Fröken Snusk won Masked Singer last year and also participated in Melodifestivalen.
