A passenger ferry with about 150 people on board drove at high speed into the quay in Nacka Strand, east of Stockholm. It is the second time in three weeks the vessel is involved in a similar incident, writes Aftonbladet. It just crashed, says a woman who was on board the ferry to TT.

Lars Antonsson, air rescue leader at the sea and air rescue, tells Expressen that the ferry did not get in reverse when it was to dock.

— We have no idea what happened. It just crashed, no warning or anything. My husband injured his neck a bit but it's no danger, says a woman who was on board the ferry to TT

The ferry runs between Strandvägen and the popular tourist destination Fjäderholmarna in the approach to Stockholm.

The same ferry ran aground and into an outdoor restaurant a few weeks ago, according to the shipping company Strömma which operates the line.

It's two unrelated events. We do not yet know if a technical fault was behind this incident, we have not come that far yet, says Peter Henricson, press contact at the shipping company Strömma, to Aftonbladet.
