Ferrari's chairman believes Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc should focus on driving their cars. In an interview after this weekend's disastrous GP, he points a boot at the stars.

Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have not had the Formula 1 season they hoped for. The team is fourth in the constructors' championship and has not won a single GP. Now they are receiving criticism from the top boss.

"We definitely have drivers who need to focus more on driving and talk less," Ferrari chairman John Elkann said, according to the BBC .

After both Leclerc and Hamilton were forced to retire at Interlagos, Ferrari were overtaken by Red Bull in the constructors' championship, a loss that could cost the team around SEK 95 million in prize money. The gap to Mercedes in second place grew to 36 points this weekend.

Lewis Hamilton has described his first season at the team as “a nightmare.” The seven-time world champion is sixth in the drivers’ championship, just behind teammate Leclerc.

McLaren has already won the constructors' championship and drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are first and second respectively in the drivers' championship.
