Sadettin Saran, the chairman of Turkish giants Fenerbahce, is being investigated for drug offences. He was arrested for the second time on Christmas Eve, but was released on Christmas Day, Turkish media reports.

Saran, along with several other Turkish figures, has been suspected in a drug case since early December. The Turkish-American businessman is suspected of drug use, supplying drugs and facilitating drug use.

On Christmas Eve, Saran was arrested again, and after questioning, he was released the following day. However, he must report to the police station twice a week while the investigation is ongoing. He was also reportedly banned from leaving the country earlier during the investigation.

Saran has denied the allegations and believes that it is a smear campaign against him and Fenerbahce.

The club, which has expressed its support for its chairman on social media, claims that Saran was at the police station voluntarily on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, Fenerbahce supporters gathered outside a court to show their support for Saran, who took office as chairman in September earlier this year.

The Fenerbahce club is active in several sports, but is most successful in football and basketball.
