The rescue service rushed out to a hotel on Trädgårdsgatan in central Uppsala during the night. A porter had discovered water in the entrance at half past four.
When the rescue service arrived, they found that the water was coming from one of the hotel rooms, reports Upsala Nya Tidning.
It was a man who had fallen asleep in the shower and covered the floor drain, says Therese Blade at the rescue service to the newspaper.
She cannot say how extensive the damage was, but notes that there was a lot of water that had flowed from the third floor.
