In August, Indycar will come to Washington for the “Freedom 250 grand prix.” Ahead of the race, Indy 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist, reigning Indycar champion Alex Palou and Indycar driver David Malukas were given a tour of the White House.
"It was cool to see the Oval Office because I've seen it in so many movies. Probably not the real thing, but I've seen it. The whole thing is pretty hard to take in," Rosenqvist said, according to Fox.
The race will be held on the streets of Washington to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, and required special permission from Trump.
They will drive at speeds that, if we did that on a normal day, I think people would have ended up in jail, Trump said in his speech during the visit.
