IndyCar driver Felix Rosenqvist was taken to hospital after a crash in Detroit's GP.

It was with 17 laps to go that Louis Foster lost control of his car, crashed into the sidewall and then drove into Rosenqvist from behind. The Swede flew into the crash barriers and both drivers had to break off the race.

Rosenqvist was heard in Viaplay's broadcast saying that he was okay but had pain in one leg.

He waved to the supporters before being taken away in an ambulance.

Kirkwood won the race and Marcus Ericsson drove in 13th place.
