"Felicia woke up with a voice that is barely recognizable. The turquoise carpet, singing and long days in a dry arena, shouts of joy and talk, talk, talk have taken their toll," SVT's press spokespeople write in an email to Swedish media representatives in Vienna.
However, it is not a case of an illness affecting the Swedish singer.
"I woke up and was very hoarse. It's the talking that's the worst and it's a disaster for me who hates being quiet. But it's just a matter of following the advice I got from my singing coach, being quiet, resting and drinking water and luckily, I'm not sick. I'm so excited for the final, then both my voice and glasses will hold up," the singer says in a statement.
Felicia advanced to Saturday's final in the Eurovision Song Contest from Tuesday's semi-final with her entry "My system".
