Friday night brought drama when Felicia fainted after the rehearsal. Now she has been allowed to make some changes for the evening. Among other things, she will skip the opening flag parade at the rehearsal in order to rest.
"The rope itself felt great yesterday. But then it was so incredibly hot in the green room and the more time went by I felt like I was getting more and more dizzy and when I got to the lodge I was very weak. I got great help from the medical staff on site. Now I have slept well, drunk as much water as I can and eaten. I am super ready for the day," Felicia writes in an email.
Can change
The Swedish delegation head, Lotta Furebäck, writes that Felicia has been allowed to change after her performance and does not have to remain in the green room in the tight-fitting costume during the long broadcast.
"For us, the most important thing is of course that Felicia is well. After a good night's sleep, plenty to drink and food in her stomach, she says she feels ready for and looks forward to the day. To prevent what happened yesterday from happening again, we have taken certain measures," she writes in the same email.
Furebäck also says they are in dialogue with Austria's public broadcaster ORF about reviewing the arena's temperature and whether anything can be done about it.
Drunk water
When Felicia met the fans at lunchtime on Saturday, she announced that she was ready for the evening's competition.
"It feels really good. I've been drinking a lot of water. Believe me, I've been feeling great. I'm incredibly fit for a fight," says Felicia.
She also thanked the fans, who showed their support with singing and applause.
It feels absolutely fantastic to have you there. The support and the encouragement. Without it, it's completely... I'll do my best.
