Federal judge halts Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy's childhood vaccine plan

The Massachusetts judge's decision came after several medical and public-health organizations sued the government.

The changes were pushed through by vaccine skeptic Kennedy in January. They meant that the CDC reduced the number of recommended vaccinations for children from 18 to 11.

This removed the recommendation that all babies be vaccinated against, for example, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, RSV, and two types of bacterial meningitis.
