Earlier in March, the company sued the presidential administration for the classification that bars Anthropic, best known for the AI tool Claude, from working for the defense.
According to the ruling, the government's classification violates the country's freedom of speech law, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The conflict stems from Anthropic's refusal to allow the US Department of Defense full access to the company's technology, including for monitoring the population and for using deadly force with "autonomous weapons".
