The process surrounding FC Rosengård's incorporation has been extensive recently. In December, the decision to incorporate the elite operations was made at an extraordinary annual meeting.
On Wednesday, it also became official that Crux Football is stepping in as an investor and co-owner of the club's elite women's operations.
The changes don't stop at the ownership structure. Crux Football founder and CEO Bex Smith now says that the club's name and visual identity may also be reviewed.
We get to look at what the brand means for the identity, and after that potentially look at a different name and different club colors - that really reflect the right identity for this particular team, says Smith.
For a name change to become a reality, a decision is required at an annual meeting. According to the so-called 51 percent rule, Crux Football can also control a maximum of 49 percent of the votes.
A technicality. We have a board in the owner company with members from both the association and Crux, where everyone agrees on the structure and development of this women's football team. Everyone wants to go in the same direction, says Smith.
