"The acquisition strengthens Fazer's position in the Swedish candy market, especially in loose candy, candy bags and seasonal products," Fazer said in a press release.
Aroma, which last year had a turnover of 451 million SEK, has approximately 100 employees and production in Stockholm, Eskilstuna and Bengtsfors.
The deal must be approved by the Swedish Competition Authority and the Inspectorate for Strategic Products before it can be completed.
