Bremmer has previously written the books "The League: The Blood Sisters of Klarakvarterens, or 'A Strange Explosion of Female Intelligence'" (2025), "A Damn Sunshine: A Biography of Ester Blenda Nordström" (2017) and "The Last Aunts: A Portrait of the Invisible Everyday Heroes of the 20th Century" (2011).
The Ida Bäckman scholarship is awarded every two years. In recent years, Beate Grimsrud and Lotta Lundberg have received it, among others.
