A person has died in a traffic accident on E18 at Bergmotet in Karlstad.
The accident occurred just before 11 am on Wednesday morning. Two passenger cars and a truck were involved in the accident, and two of the vehicles caught fire.
Two people were taken away by ambulance from the accident site, but it is unclear how badly they were injured.
I have no information about that, says Lars Hedelin, press spokesperson at the police in Bergslagen, to TT regarding the extent of the injuries.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into gross negligence in traffic and bodily harm.
