A man has died in a plane crash in Satakunta in southwestern Finland, reports Finnish media.
This is about a two-seat ultralight aircraft that two people were traveling in. The man who flew the plane died, while the passenger was seriously injured and taken to hospital, writes Ilta-Sanomat.
The accident site is located next to the airport in Jämijärvi, where the flight started and shortly afterwards crashed for unknown reasons.
It is still unclear how long the plane had been in the air, but not long, says Jutta Karrento at the police to Yle.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
