Thus, the decision of the City of Stockholm's social committee regarding two actors who applied for a permit is changed, according to a press release. The actors wanted to be open on Saturdays between 15 and 20, and between 10 and 20 on Sundays and public holidays.
These are times when Systembolaget is not open and therefore the social committee rejected the applications. The committee also referred to the fact that it would imply alcohol policy disadvantages.
The Administrative Court changes the decision so that the sale is allowed between 10 and 20 all days of the year. The Administrative Court also believes that certain circumstances can make the sale unsuitable at certain times, but that individual assessments should be made in each individual case.
In the two current cases, the Administrative Court believes that such circumstances have not been presented, says judge Anna Malmström in the press release.
