National team defender Gabriel Carlsson, 28, is confirmed for Färjestad.
After a season in Switzerland and Zug, Carlsson returns to Sweden and has signed a three-year contract with Färjestad.
He is happy to be back in the SHL where he last belonged to Växjö.
“I think it's a really fun league and I think it suits me quite well. Very structured and everyone works hard and it goes fast. And of course, it's a bit special to play in Sweden I think. I'm looking forward to coming to Karlstad and Färjestad”, he says to Färjestad's website.
Gabriel Carlsson was selected for Tre Kronor to the World Championship in Globen, but was never included in the team and had to follow the championship from the sidelines.
