It was a party in Karlstad when Färjestad hosted Örebro on Saturday evening. The game was effectively decided in the first 20 minutes after goals from Victor Ejdsell and Axel Bergkvist, among others.
It did not get any better in the second period either, with "FBK" stretching their lead to both 5–0 and 6–0.
"It’s a nightmare start, we start okay for the first ten minutes but then they score and we collapse. We’re very small and we put each other in trouble," coach Martin Filander said.
Färjestad won the match 7–0 after a goal by Jack Berglund in the third period.
