The fans are speculating that Taylor Swift is dissing Charli XCX on the new album.

When Charli XCX released the album "Brat" many believed the song "Girl, so confusing" was about Lorde, based on a few lines in the song. Two weeks later, a remix with Lorde was released, where both sing about their uncertainty and rivalry in the music industry.

The song "Sympathy is a knife" also sparked speculation. There, Charli XCX sings: "I do not want to see her behind the stage at my boyfriend's concert" and "this girl really triggers my insecurities". Since Swift has dated The 1975 member Matty Healy and Charli XCX is married to the band's drummer George Daniel, it is interpreted by some as a reference to Swift.

Now, according to fans, Swift seems to be responding with a proper diss track against Charli XCX in the new song "Actually romantic": "You wrote a song about feeling bad from seeing my face. Some people would be offended but it's actually cute, how much time you've spent on me.”
