The doctor is being investigated for several mistakes and malpractice and has previously been reported by the Jönköping Region to the Health and Care Inspectorate (Ivo).
A total of 500 medical records for children previously declared healthy by the doctor have been re-examined. 78 of the children, who were cared for by the doctor between 2018 and 2022, needed to be called for new examinations.
38 children need continued care, several of which are considered serious cases.
