Falsterbo's international show jumping event offers a world-class starting field in two weeks.

World number one Henrik von Eckermann and reigning European Champion Steve Guerdat are participating.

The competitions will take place on 11-14 July and include, among other things, a team jumping event and a five-star GP jumping event.

The Olympic jumping events will take place on 1-6 August in Versailles, and several expected Olympic riders are preparing in Falsterbo.

Henrik von Eckermann was long hesitant about Falsterbo, but has chosen to accept. He will be accompanied by fellow Swedes, including Peder Fredricson, Petronella Andersson, and Wilma Hellström.

Swiss rider Steve Guerdat is a returning guest in Falsterbo and is bringing his compatriot Martin Fuchs, who won last year's GP jumping event.

The team jumping event will feature Sweden, Switzerland, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA, Norway, Ireland, and Italy.

"It's fantastic to come back to Falsterbo, it's one of our absolute favorite competitions as a team and something that both I and the riders always look forward to very much. It will be both exciting and fun to meet the Swedish audience at home with all our fantastic riders. We're riding this weekend (Stockholm) and then the Nations Cup in Aachen, after which I'll take the team to Falsterbo," says national team captain Henrik Ankarcrona in a press release from the organizer.
