A number of people in Borås are reported to have received sms about several lions escaping from Borås animal park and wandering around in central parts of the city, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
The animal park is stated as the sender, but the police deny the information.
According to Fredrik Svedemyr, the police's press spokesperson in the west, a number of false sms have been sent out since last week.
Among other things, the messages concern warnings about lions, armed individuals and that Sweden is under armed attack.
