This year's race was canceled due to the war between the United States and Iran.
Next year, F1 will kick off its season in Bahrain on March 14, with Saudi Arabia the next stop a week later. Qatar and Abu Dhabi are also on the calendar later in the season.
Races in the Middle East provide Formula 1 with greater revenue, but are uncertain due to the Iran conflict. It is not yet certain that this year's races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi in November-December can be held.
New for 2027 will be an increase in the number of sprint races, from six to ten. Among other things, for the first time in Monaco.
Including sprint races on the program will generate greater interest from television viewers, according to F1 management.
The Portuguese GP is back on the program after six years and F1 will also be held in Turkey next year.
